Our response sets out our members’ views that:

  • There should be no minimum biogenic content in MSW or RDF feedstocks,
  • New RCF feedstocks should be considered by the RTFO Administrator on a rolling case-by-case basis,
  • If the GHG savings threshold is the same for RCFs as it is for biogenic fuels, then the reward should be the same
  • The level of RTFC reward for RCFs must be higher than the DfT’s proposals if the incentive is to be successful.
